uses xenon arc light filtered through a filter to perform artificial climate aging or artificial exposure to radiation on the coating. The purpose is to make the coating undergo a certain degree of exposure to radiation energy, so that the selected properties will change to a certain extent, or to cause the coating to reach a certain degree of exposure radiation energy required for aging. The properties selected for testing should be those that are important in the actual application of the coating. The performance of the exposed coating can be compared to the performance of a similarly prepared unexposed coating (control sample).
