Principle of penetration detection

The penetrant will enter the open defects on the surface of the object under capillary action. After removing the excess penetrant on the surface and applying the developer, the penetrant in the defects will also precipitate under capillary action. By observing the characteristics displayed by the precipitated penetrant, the surface opening defects of the object can be evaluated. Penetrant testing is simple to operate and the test results are intuitive and easy to use. It is suitable for defect detection of surface openings, but it cannot be used for porous materials. Penetrant Detection Method

coloring method : The coloring method (V) only needs to be carried out under white light and daylight, and works in a place without water or electricity.
1. Washable coloring method (VA): suitable for inspecting parts with rough surfaces and less demanding requirements. The flaw detection sensitivity is low and it is difficult to find subtle defects.
2. Post-emulsification coloring method (VB): widely used; highly sensitive, suitable for inspecting more precise parts.
Fluorescence method : The fluorescence method (F) requires a UV lamp and a dark room, and cannot work in places without electricity.
