Authentication case
A food company ordered a batch of milk from a dairy factory, and the milk quality indicators were agreed upon in the contract. After receiving the first batch of milk, the food company determined that the batch of milk did not meet relevant standards after preliminary quality inspection. The two parties went to court over the matter, and the Municipal Intermediate Court entrusted our company to conduct a technical appraisal on whether the milk involved in the case complied with relevant standards.
The expert group conducted the test based on the GB/T 5009 series of standards and the GB/T 4789 series of food hygiene microbiological inspections. The test report showed that the coliform bacteria in this batch of milk exceeded the standard and the food additives were unqualified.
In addition, the packaging of this batch of milk did not meet the standard requirements and lacked information such as nutritional ingredients list and ingredient list.
