Appraisal Background
During overload operation of a gantry crane with quality problems, the overload stress generated by the gantry crane may easily cause problems such as wire ropes being pulled off, transmission parts being damaged, motors being burned out, etc. Due to insufficient braking force, the brakes may fail and cause major accidents.

Authentication case
A company purchased a 30-ton gantry crane, but during use, short circuits in the electrical wires and the crane caught fire frequently occurred, seriously affecting work efficiency and endangering the personal safety of the staff. After further negotiations with the equipment company, both parties entrusted our company to conduct a technical appraisal of possible quality problems with the gantry crane.
The expert team went to the site to conduct detailed research on the gantry crane and formulated a reasonable inspection plan, and finally came to the following conclusions:
1. Most of the welding of the gantry crane was rough, and there was a large deviation in the welding fillet size;
