Chemical liquid resistance test of road vehicle lamps

The chemical liquid resistance test of road vehicle lamps can determine the possible impact of certain chemical materials on the plastic light-distributing mirrors of light signaling devices.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the ability to test the environmental durability of various lighting devices, and provides professional chemical liquid resistance testing services for external lighting and optical signaling devices of road vehicles.

Vehicle front lights include: low beam, high beam, front position lights, daytime running lights, front turn lights, front fog lights, corner lights, side turn lights, parking lights;
Vehicle rear lights include: brake lights, rear position lights, rear turn lights, reversing lights, rear fog lights, rear retroreflectors, high-mounted brake lights, license plate lights;
Common lights for large vehicles include: front profile lights, rear profile lights, side marker lights, reflective logos, and tail sign boards.

The light distribution performance of the sample should be inspected before and after the test, and the use of test method A or method B should be agreed upon. Method A only uses the first two test solutions, and method B uses all three.
1. Lubricating oil resistance: Rub a piece of cotton cloth soaked in clean lubricating oil on the outer surface of the sample lens for about 5 minutes. Then wipe the surface clean and check the light distribution performance.
2. Fuel resistance: Use a piece of cotton cloth soaked in the above fuel to rub the outer surface of the sample lens for about 5 minutes. Then visually inspect the outer surface of the lens.
3. Resistance to cleaning fluid: Drop the above cleaning fluid on the outer surface of the sample light-matching lens. The droplets will be in a state of tension. After 7 hours, inspect the outer surface of the light-matching lens.
4. Result judgment: The outer surface of the light distribution mirror should be free of cracks, discoloration and deformation, and the light distribution performance of the sample should meet the requirements of relevant standards.
