Test Background
The glass substrate is a basic component of the liquid crystal display device. It is a thin glass sheet produced by float process with an extremely flat surface. The Flat Display Glass Chemical Durability Test determines the chemical durability of flat panel display substrate glass.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has reliability testing capabilities for various types of glass and provides professional chemical durability testing services for flat panel display substrate glass.
Scope of tests
Flat glass mainly includes ordinary flat glass, tempered glass, surface processed flat glass (including ground glass, frosted glass, sandblasted glass, frosted glass, embossed glass, ice pattern glass, etched glass, etc.
Test method
1. Weigh the prepared sample to be tested.
2. Place the sample to be tested in a reaction container containing a reagent solution of a certain temperature and concentration.
3. There should be a gap of 1 cm~2 cm between the sample to be tested and the bottom of the empty container to ensure that the sample to be tested is fully immersed in the liquid and fully contacted. The sample to be tested can also be placed at an angle relative to the wall of the container.
4. Place the reaction vessel in an oscillator water bath that has been preheated to the set temperature. The oscillator is equipped with a specified oscillation stroke and oscillation frequency. Close the reaction vessel and allow the sample to be tested to be exposed to the reagent at the specified temperature and time.
5. After the test reaches the specified time, immediately take out the reaction vessel from the oscillating water bath, use soft pliers to take out the sample to be tested from the reaction vessel, and immediately rinse it with pure water of appropriate temperature. The surface of the sample should not be subject to friction.
6. Then wipe clean with alcohol and acetone.
7. Place the sample to be tested in the oven, and then dry it at 110℃±2℃ for 30 minutes.
8. Place the sample to be tested in a desiccator and cool to room temperature.
