Test Background
Geotextiles and related products are widely used in various civil engineering and water conservancy projects, and have the functions of protection, reinforcement, isolation, filtration and drainage. These products come into contact with acids, alkalis or aqueous solutions of dissolved oxygen in the soil during use. The ability of geotextiles to resist these chemicals depends on the composition of the polymer, processing technology, textile structure and existing damage on the one hand; on the other hand it depends on the liquid composition and environmental conditions, such as temperature, pressure and the presence of other mechanical stresses.
The geotextile acid and alkali resistance test can measure its acid and alkali resistance performance, and is suitable for geotextiles, paint dyeing and printed fabrics of various base fabrics. Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the capability of reliability testing of various geotextiles and provides professional acid and alkali resistance testing services for geotextiles and related products.
Scope of tests
1. Geotextiles can be mainly divided into woven geotextiles and non-woven geotextiles.
2. Geotextiles can also be divided into three series: needle-punched non-woven geotextiles, needle-punched non-woven fabrics and PE film composite geotextiles, and non-woven and woven composite geotextiles.
3. According to the different raw material fibers used, it can be divided into short fiber geotextiles, short fiber needle punched geotextiles, filament woven geotextiles, anti-seepage geotextiles, composite geotextiles, warp knitted composite geotextiles, polypropylene geotextiles, woven geotextiles, singed geotextiles, polyester filament geotextiles, etc.
Test method
Completely immerse the sample in the test solution and place it at the specified temperature for a certain period of time. The tensile properties, dimensional change rate and unit area mass of the samples before and after immersion were measured respectively.
Compare the test results of the dipped sample and the control sample.
