Company Profile
Plastic containers are often used for the packaging of chemical products containing oily foods, medicines, pesticides, acids, alkalis, various solvents and oils. When in contact with them, when the molecular polarities of the plastic and the reagent are similar, the reagent will penetrate into the interior of the polymer to form a match. When this binding force exceeds the cohesion between the polymer chains, the molecules will be pulled apart from each other, and the solvent molecules will take advantage of the gap, causing a melting phenomenon. Even further development will result in the polymer chain dispersing the agent into the solvent and showing a dissolved state. Under certain conditions, hydrolysis will occur when water, acid, alkali and other reagents come into contact with polymers, especially polyester plastics (polyester, polycarbonate, polyurethane). Plastic chemical resistance test can measure its resistance to chemical media and is suitable for various plastic products.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the capability of reliability testing of various plastics and provides professional chemical resistance testing services for plastics and related products.
