Excavator scrappedAppraisal Background

For excavators, the technical performance requirements in terms of airtightness, sealing, strength, etc. are relatively high, which is also the key point of its life and scrap life. Generally speaking, the life of an excavator depends on many factors such as the user's usage environment, work intensity, and the quality of the machine itself. However, under normal use and maintenance, the service life of an excavator can reach more than 10 years, and the scrappage period is generally about 15 years.
According to the "Special Equipment Safety Supervision Regulations" and the "Technical Supervision Regulations for Wheeled Mobile Cranes and Engineering Cranes", excavators are classified as special equipment. Therefore, the scrapping standards of excavators need to follow national standards.
As an independent third-party inspection and testing organization under Guoke Holdings, Zhongke Testing has the qualifications for fixed asset scrapping appraisal and can carry out excavator scrapping appraisal services.

ExcavatorScrap Condition

1. Service life - Generally speaking, the service life of an excavator is between 6,000 and 8,000 hours. If it exceeds this time or the work intensity is too high, it needs to be considered scrapped.
2. Technical status - Whether the technical indicators of the excavator have reached national standards, whether there are major faults and safety hazards, etc. are all important factors in determining whether the excavator should be scrapped.
3. Economic benefits - Economic indicators such as maintenance costs, energy consumption and production efficiency of the excavator will also have an important impact on whether it needs to be scrapped.

Excavator scrappedAuthentication case

Three excavators of a machinery company were washed away in a certain flood. In order to determine whether the equipment has reached a scrap state, the machinery company entrusted our company to appraise whether the excavators have reached a scrap state.
Appraisal Analysis Results:
Appraisal Analysis The expert team conducted on-site inspection and investigation results on the excavator commissioned for appraisal and evaluation, and made the following suggestions and conclusions:
Identification of the actual technical condition of the excavator and description of defects:
(1) Overall appearance inspection: The upper and lower frames were severely deformed, and the cab was severely deformed.
(2) Power system inspection: The engine assembly is seriously damaged.
(3) Hydraulic system inspection: Hydraulic pumps, multi-way valves, hydraulic motors and other hydraulic components are seriously damaged, hydraulic pipelines are loose and damaged, cylinders are damaged and bent, and steering gears are damaged.
(4) Walking system inspection: The lower frame is severely deformed, and the four wheels are severely damaged.
(5) Working device inspection: The boom is broken.
(6) Electrical system inspection: Instruments, meters, lighting and other electrical system components are severely damaged and missing.
0 In summary, the actual technical condition of this excavator is rated as poor.
1 Since all indicators of this construction machinery have reached scrapping standards after being destroyed by floods, its cost after repair has been greater than its value before being destroyed by floods, and it has no repair and utilization value, so it should be treated as residual value.
