Test Background
Steel structures are often coated with heavy-duty corrosion paint to form a long-term anti-corrosion structure, or they are protected with matching heavy-duty anti-corrosion paint. The steel component corrosion resistance test can measure the corrosion resistance of building steel connecting parts and steel components in a chloride ion environment.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the ability to test the corrosion resistance of various metals and alloys, and provides professional corrosion resistance testing services for steel connecting parts and steel components used in construction.
Scope of tests
Steel structure components mainly include steel roof trusses, steel grids, steel brackets, steel trusses, steel columns, steel beams, steel floors, steel supports, steel wall frames, steel purlins, steel platforms, steel ladders, steel railings, sporadic steel structures, etc.
Test method
Method A: Periodic spray test method.
The recommended test duration is 30 days, which can also be determined through negotiation between relevant parties. The single cycle period is 12 hours, and each spraying is 180 minutes ± 10 minutes. After spraying, a ventilation drying system is used to air-dry the sample. The uniform drying of the sample should be ensured. Forced air blowing is not recommended for drying.
Method B: Periodic salt spray test method.
The test cycle time is 12 hours. The test period should be determined according to the relevant standards of the material or product being tested. When there is no standard, it can be determined through negotiation between relevant parties. The recommended test periods are 24 h, 48 h, 72 h, 96 h, 144 h, 168 h, 240 h, 480 h, 720 h, and 1 200 h.
